Courtney & Harry’s Mt Vernon Wedding in Akaroa

You might recognise these two from an engagement session i recently blogged on the website here. Courtney & Harry are such a wonderful couple & i was so excited when they came to me with only 6 weeks until their wedding day! (wow these two are superstars for organising a wedding in such a small amount of time) they originally planned to have an intimate wedding in rarotonga but of course covid had other plans so they decided to have a small wedding in akaroa and i know that they both agree it was an INCREDIBLE day surrounded by only their closest friends and family!

Boy Oh Boy was it a hot one- we got to a whopping 34 degrees up in akaroa and i think its safe to say we were all sweating in places we shouldn’t have been.But it didn’t matter one bit, as watching these two beautiful souls get married, was such an honour. It was such an emotional ceremony and it was very easy to see the love between these two & myself and angie (celebrant) were both in tears hearing their beautiful vows.

We had the BEST time travelling up the top of akaroa (with the most stunning view) for bridal photos & harry and courtney just make such a gorgeous couple i was almost in tears again! we finished off the day with a delicious meal, a beuatiful view and the best company.
Thank you both for welcoming me so warmly and making me feel like a part of your special day, i am truly honoured you chose me and i really hope you love your photos sooo much!!
