Castle Hill Styled Shoot

Wow guys, I had some of the most AMAZING vendors work together with me to help create a small and intimate styled shoot at Castle Hill In Canterbury, NZ. This incredible place provided the PERFECT Cantabrian landscape to showcase all our Vendors had to offer. I absolutely fell in love with Castle Hill the first time I went there, when you look around you see the beautiful rugged mismatched rocks sprinkled everywhere. They are so spontaneous, so beautiful and just so untouched. This is what I loved most about the landscape that it still remains natural and almost untouched. There may be some rock climbers, families enjoying a walk or a picnic, multiple selfies and maybe a toilet smack bang in the middle of the landscape, but the fact that you can drive 1 hr 30 minutes from Christchurch and end up somewhere like this is simply magical! When I walked along admiring the snow capped mountains and tussled grass I thought to myself "‘this is quintessential Canterbury” and what more could a bride want from her photos than to have beautiful tussock grass, natural rocks and snow capped mountains.

So I fell in love with this place and set out to capture a romantic and intimate elopement wedding. Working with some of the top vendors in Christchurch, leaving them each to their own creative flare and what they do best we all came together on the day and it was magical! To the delicate floral piece and soft waves in our models hair, to the romantic pinks and peaches of the bouquet, her natural beauty was bought to life with a romantic soft makeup pallet. I was lucky enough to have two dress designers on board who both had the most amazing dresses that really reflected the romantic and whimsical style and matched perfectly with the Castle Hill landscape.
