I AM ABSOLOUTELY BUZZING!!! I feel like I have been waiting FOREVER to share this BLOG with you all!! (Its been a busy few weeks) but now we are here!! Ali & Justins wedding was just WOW mind with some MAGICAL and AMAZING moments!!
We started off with a bright, hot and sunny day with Ali & the girls getting ready in Methven. Ali kept her dress a surprise from her friends and family until the big reveal and gosh when I first saw her dress… my jaw dropped… STUNNING!! absolutely in LOVE with it and Ali looked like an absolute beauty!! Getting ready with the girls even included the sweetest touch, one of Ali’s bridesmaids who couldn’t make it to the wedding day- because of covid :( Got up and got ready with the girls via zoom! Now that’s dedication!
We then headed to Justins family farm in Methven, the perfect backdrop for these two to get married amongst their family, friends and gorgeous son Travis (who you’ll find making an appearance throughout the blog with his very cheeky and photogenic face- hello baby model?!) Not to mention the two most cutest dogs ! <3
We then headed to Rakaia Gorge for Bridal party photos, making sure to stop off at the top of the hill for a few poses with the amazing backdrop of the gorge. When we got to the bottom of the hill, alongside the gorge, we immediately saw a group of horses. We all thought, wouldn’t it be amazing if we could get Ali & Justin to have some photo’s with the horses?! Before I could finish my train of thought, Ali’s bridesmaid had already ran up and asked to borrow a horse- or two for photos and before I knew it Ali was hopping up on one! WOW it couldn’t have been more EPIC to have photos with these incredible horses. I was absolutely buzzing with JOY!! not only do I LOVE horses- So do Justin & Ali and getting photo’s with these majestic beauties was an absolute DREAM- P.S how STUNNING is this couple! WOW!!
Special thanks to Methven Pony Club for letting us borrow their horses and making this a truly special and magical day- For everyone involved! We are all forever grateful!!!
After photos we headed back to the Famous Methven Blue Pub (if you’ve never been, they have the BEST chips in the WORLD!) and enjoyed the rest of the evening with touching speeches from the family.
Ali & Justin- I really cannot thank you enough for choosing me to be a part of your day- I absolutely LOVED being there by your side and capturing your love story. I am just so Ecstatic with the photos we got and hope you cherish these for a lifetime.
